Simulation Theory demonstrates how an application using an optimized framework can benefit from a minimal code impact, low-effort integration with Sim Theory’s proprietary Scheduler technology. We chose CNeRF, a C++ implementation of Neural Radiance Fields.
By integrating Sim Theory's scheduler, CPU utilization improved 39.47%
Simulation Theory demonstrates exactly how much a stand-alone implementation of the Sim Theory Scheduler can improve upon a publicly available, common implementation of an algorithm. We chose the MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) algorithm used to show stock market trends.
The common MACD implementation processed about 35MB of data in under 18 seconds. Sim Theory's implementation processed 10,800MB of data in 2.5 seconds.
Building on our original CNeRF work, Simulation Theory finds out how the performance boost from integrating our Scheduler compares to other publicly available threading and scheduling solutions.
When implementing Sim Theory's scheduler and Intel's oneTBB under identical conditions, Sim Theory beat oneTBB's performance by 11.9%
